SpeedWritr

BETA

Say it once. Pick what you are creating (a blog post, an X thread or article, a LinkedIn post, a newsletter, sales page copy, email swipes or a YouTube video script) and SpeedWritr turns your own words into it, in your voice. Then it promotes it: an X post, an X thread, an X article, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube community, Substack, beehiiv and short video scripts. Your words are the only source: it never adds facts, numbers, names or hedges you did not say.

Before you start

  • An idea to talk aboutAn idea you can talk about for a few minutes: what you think, why, and the examples you have.
  • A sample of your writingA sample of your own writing on your account (Account, Writing). SpeedWritr copies how it reads, never what it says. Without one it writes plain, direct and first person. You can keep up to 5 named samples (say "Blog voice", "X voice", "Sales voice") and pick one per project: SpeedWritr suggests the one whose name fits what you are creating, else your first. Other tools write in your first sample.
  • A connected WordPress siteTo send a blog post, newsletter or sales page to WordPress: a site connected under Account, Publishing.
Sign in first. A project started on your plan is saved to your account and can go all the way to Promote it, WordPress and the ZIP. The free demo stops after the finished piece, on notes of up to 8,000 characters.
PART 01

What you can create

One project makes one main piece. Pick it first, under What are you creating?

Blog postAn article, in the article type you pick (see Say it). Goes to WordPress as a draft post.
X thread2 to 15 posts, each up to 280 characters the way X counts them. In the editor, a line holding --- separates the posts.
X articleA TL;DR, a hook, sections and a recap, up to 20,000 characters.
LinkedIn postOne post in plain text, up to 3,000 characters.
Newsletter editionSubstack or beehiiv style: a Subject: line, a Preview: line, then the body. Goes to WordPress as a draft post (without the Subject and Preview lines).
Sales page copyHeadline, subhead, the problem, the solution, benefits, the offer, guarantee, FAQ and call to action. Goes to WordPress as a draft page.
Email swipes3 to 7 emails (you pick how many), each with a subject, preview text, the body and a call to action.
YouTube video scriptA standard long-form video (not a Short). You check its structure first, then get the hook, the segments and the call to action, word for word or as a bullet script. See below.

Sales page copy and email swipes never make anything up. A price, result, number, testimonial, review, guarantee, refund, bonus, deadline, scarcity or link you did not give becomes a visible [ADD: ...] note for you to fill in, and any sentence claiming one is cut and listed under Check these before you publish. Every email's call to action gets [ADD: your link] unless your words hold the link. Put what is real in What you are offering so it can be used. A piece cannot be marked Ready while an [ADD: ...] note is left.

PART 02

How a YouTube video script is made

0 of 5 done
  1. Structure firstAfter the points check, SpeedWritr proposes the skeleton: one headline sentence per segment with 2 to 6 bullets each, only as many segments as the topic needs. Reorder, edit, merge, remove or add segments, and pick Word-for-word script (the full spoken script) or Bullet script (bullets to riff from). If the material is thin it says so and suggests a newsletter or a shorter piece, and it lists questions your viewers may ask that your notes do not answer. Press Looks right, write the script.
  2. The hookIt names who it is for through their struggle (the target), what they will be able to do after watching (the transformation) and what it costs them if they do not (the stakes). A credibility line only ever comes from what you wrote about yourself on your account.
  3. Each segmentIt has a setup (a mini-hook: why this part matters before the step), the tension (what the viewer probably does now and why it fails, then what to do instead) and a payoff that says what they now have or can do, never a recap. Setups and payoffs are written out word for word in both modes. Notes in square brackets suggest what to show on screen or film as B-roll.
  4. The call to actionIt links back to something in the video, raises curiosity about something new, and promises it in your next video (or your offer, if you chose that). Give the next video's title or link on the first screen; without one, the script says [ADD: next video to link to]. A lead magnet you give gets a short mid-video call to action.
  5. You decide when it is doneEdit it yourself, or press Tighten or Rewrite this segment on one segment at a time.
PART 03

Say it

0 of 6 done
  1. Open SpeedWritrAt speedwritr.ahastudio.net, or press Start something new on your account page and choose Content project.
  2. Pick what you are creatingFor email swipes, pick how many emails (3 to 7). For a video script, pick word-for-word or bullet script, where the closing call to action points, and optionally the next video and a lead magnet. For a sales page or email swipes, add What you are offering: what they get, the price, any guarantee or bonus, the link, only what is real.
  3. Fill the Your words boxDo it one of three ways: press the mic on the box and talk (each clip is up to 3 minutes; press it again to add more), paste notes or a transcript, or press Upload audio for an mp3, m4a, wav or webm file of up to 24 MB and 20 minutes (plan members). The words from the file are added to the box so you can read them over.
  4. For a blog post, pick the article typeFlexible, Informational, Listicle, How-to, Product or service review, Affiliate review, Comparison, Opinion or Case study. For an affiliate review, paste your disclosure: it is used word for word near the start.
  5. OptionalA working title, who it is for, what it should do, and a call to action. A call to action is only added when you type one, exactly as you wrote it.
  6. Hear my pointsPress Hear my points.
PART 04

Record in takes, with a floating recorder (plan members)

0 of 6 done

For talking through a longer piece, or reading from your own bullet points while you speak.

  1. Pick what you are creating, then press Record in takesThe project is saved straight away, so you can leave and pick it up later from Your work (Continue recording).
  2. Record, Pause, Resume, then Stop and save takeEach stop is one take. Press the Space bar to start, pause and resume. A take can be up to 20 minutes and a project up to 60 minutes in all.
  3. Each take uploads as soon as it stopsIf the connection drops, the take waits in your browser and tries again by itself; Retry upload shows if it still could not get through. Keep the page open until each take shows Saved.
  4. Rename, move up or down, play back or deleteDo this to any take. The order of the list is the order your words are used in.
  5. Open floating recorderIt puts a small recorder above your other windows (Chrome or Edge on a computer), with a timer, a level meter and your bullet points, so you can read from a Google Sheet or a doc and record at the same time. Paste the bullets into Your bullet points; they are saved with the project. Keep the SpeedWritr tab open: it holds the microphone. In other browsers it opens as a small pop-up window, or docks to the corner of the page.
  6. Press Transcribe and continueEvery take is turned into words in order (anything typed in the Your words box goes first), then the points check starts as usual. A take already transcribed is never transcribed or charged again.
PART 05

Check the points

0 of 3 done

SpeedWritr lists every point it heard, one per line, and waits. Nothing is written until you say so.

  1. Fix what it misheardFix anything it misheard (names are often misheard in dictation). The corrected point wins over the transcript.
  2. Remove or add pointsPress Remove on anything that should stay out, and Add a point for anything you forgot. This works the same for every kind of piece: a brain dump for a video script is checked the same way as notes for a blog post.
  3. Write itPress Looks right, write it. Save for later keeps your changes and you can come back to the same link.
PART 06

Your piece

What you getThe piece you picked, in your voice, with a summary, key insights with your own sentence quoted under each one (copied from your words by the server, never written by the AI), and Check these before you publish: anything missing or unclear, anything cut, and any number in the draft that is not in your words.
Copy buttonsAn X thread shows each post with its X count and its own Copy button; email swipes have a Copy button per email.
Edit and set its statusPress Edit to change it, and set Draft, Reviewed or Ready. Any change after a review puts it back to Draft, with a note saying so. The editor shows how the piece is laid out (the --- between thread posts, the Subject: and Preview: lines, the ## section headings, a video's **Setup:**, **Tension:** and **Payoff:** labels) and warns you when an edit breaks it or runs over a limit; it still saves, but it cannot be Ready until it is fixed. It cannot be Ready while it holds a [CHECK: ...] or [ADD: ...] note either.
PART 07

Read it in the teleprompter

Open itPress Open teleprompter under your piece. A video script shows its spoken lines only (not the target, stakes or the notes in square brackets). Your short video scripts are in the list too once they are written.
ReadSet the speed and text size, then press Start. The current line stays in the middle, highlighted. Space starts and pauses, the arrow keys step through the lines, + and - change the speed, Esc closes. Click a line to jump to it.
Pop out, full screen, mirrorPop out moves it into its own window (above other windows in Chrome or Edge), Full screen fills the screen, and Mirror flips it for a glass prompter. The screen stays awake while it runs where the browser allows it.
Saved with the projectYour place, speed and size are saved with the project. Edit the reading copy lets you shorten a line for reading out loud without changing the piece. It does not record video.
PART 08

Tried it on the free demo first?

Sign in from the demo project and press Move this project into your account. It lands in Your work and carries on to Promote it without redoing anything (it counts as one of the month's projects). A project that already belongs to another account cannot be moved.

PART 09

Promote it

Press Write all, or Write on one card. Every format is written to promote the piece you made, from your own words. A format that would only repeat it is left out (an X thread is not offered for an X thread). You can close the page: the formats keep being written and show up when you come back.

X postOne post, up to 280 characters the way X counts them (a link counts 23, an emoji 2).
X thread2 to 8 posts, each up to 280 characters as X counts them.
X articleTitle, short TL;DR, body and recap, up to 20,000 characters.
LinkedIn postUp to 3,000 characters.
Facebook page postUp to 10,000 characters.
YouTube community postUp to 1,500 characters.
Substack postTitle, TL;DR, body and recap, up to 20,000 characters.
beehiiv newsletterStarts with a Subject: line and a Preview: line, then a blank line and the body; up to 20,000 characters.
Short video scripts2 or 3 scripts for Shorts, Reels or TikTok, each under 60 seconds (up to 140 words), one idea each. Each starts with a Hook: line said in the first 2 seconds (up to 8 words) and ends with a CTA: line that sends people to your piece.

Press Open on a card to edit it (a thread has one box per post, the short video scripts one box per script), see Your words behind it, switch between versions, and Copy. The counter turns red over the limit; you can still save, but it cannot be Ready until it fits. Each card has its own Draft, Reviewed and Ready. Editing a piece after you reviewed it puts it back to Draft. Nothing is ever posted for you. You copy each piece and post it yourself.

PART 10

Images

What it offersUnder Images, SpeedWritr offers the images your piece and its formats need: a blog featured image, an X post image, a LinkedIn post image and a YouTube thumbnail. Suggest concepts writes each one's headline from your own words, a visual idea and alt text, and flags any number you did not say.
The image promptEvery concept has its image prompt with the exact headline in quotes, where it sits and how bold it is, so the image comes back finished with the words in it. Edit the headline or the visual and the prompt follows, or edit the prompt itself.
Make the imageThen Open in ChatGPT (or Copy prompt) and upload the result with Upload your own image, or press Generate here, which uses your own OpenAI key (add it under Account, AI and data keys; it is billed by OpenAI, not to your monthly allowance). You can also upload your own photo.
Where images goSaved images go in the ZIP with their prompts, and the featured image becomes the featured image of your WordPress draft.
PART 11

Your campaign board

The campaign board lists every project and every piece you made in it with its Draft, Reviewed or Ready. Filter by kind, status or campaign, search titles, set a status right there, or press Open editor to jump to that piece. Name a campaign (with a goal if you like) and add projects to it; moving a project never changes a status. Progress is the share of the pieces you made that are Ready.

PART 12

Publish

WordPressFor blog posts, newsletter editions and sales pages: pick your site and press Save as a draft. A blog post or newsletter arrives as a draft post, a sales page as a draft page; publish it from WordPress when you are happy. Sending again updates the same one and never changes one that is already live. Fill in any [ADD: ...] note before it goes live.
ZIPFor every kind: press Download ZIP for your piece (Markdown and HTML, named for what it is: article.md, sales-page.md, video-script.md and so on; a thread or LinkedIn post also as .txt, each email as its own .txt), the summary with your sources and the piece's status, every written format as .txt (to paste) and .md (with its status, your words and anything to check), and your images in images/ with their prompts.
Copied or downloadedX threads, X articles, LinkedIn posts, email swipes and video scripts are copied or downloaded, never sent anywhere for you.
PART 13

Your limits

ON YOUR PLAN30 projects a monthWriting a format again does not count as a project.
FIRST 14 DAYS3 projectsSee the refund policy.

Your plan also includes a monthly amount of AI work, shared by all your AI workers. Turning your voice or an audio file into words counts toward it too. When this month's is used, the writing carries on with your own AI key: the provider and model you choose on your account page under AI and data keys. Without a key, it resumes on the 1st.
