If DataForSEO has no difficulty data for that choice, the form says which nearby data is used. Then, if you work for clients, who it is For. The steps it will run are listed above the button.
- Press Run itWatch each step: a spinner while it works, a tick when it is done, and a count while page 1 is checked keyword by keyword. You can close the page; open the run from Your work to carry on from the last lookup.
- Read the resultThe headline, a short summary with what to do next, and the keywords. Open on a row shows why it got its verdict and who holds page 1. Write this with SEO Magnets and Build a site with Site Sniper open those workers with the keyword filled in.
- Keep itDownload CSV gives every row with each column labelled by its source. Run again later shows what changed since your last run of the same research: new keywords, ones that dropped out, and verdicts that moved.
PART 02
The automations
New Site PlaybookFind what a brand-new site can actually rank for: screen your niche’s best keywords for links to beat, check page 1 on the easiest, and get a Rankable, Video-led or Possible verdict with the reason for each.
Local businessBuild the “what you sell + where you are” phrases a normal expansion never surfaces, size them for real demand, and rank them by which town-and-service pages are worth having.
Google Business ProfileTurn GBP guesswork into evidence: build and size the local searches for what you do, check page 1, and split the map-pack searches (a GBP and reviews job) from the ones a local page can rank for.
EcommerceFind the keywords with a buyer behind them: search your category, favour product and buying-intent terms, and rank them by what that traffic is worth in ads.
Local lead gen (rank-and-rent)Find service-plus-town pages with real demand and an open page 1: build the queries, rank them by lead value, and check which towns you can rank cheaply.
Niche / authority siteMap the shape of a subject: search it broadly, keep only the intent jumps (the terms it connects to that share none of your words), and cluster them into silos.
Blog / content siteStart from what Google already likes: match your Search Console rankings to a topic you cover, pull out the pages sitting at 2 to 15 (your rewrite list), and find the question topics for new pieces.
SaaS / softwareGet in front of a competitor’s buyers: pull the keywords a rival ranks for and keep only their weak positions (5 to 20), the spots they hold loosely that you could take.
AEO / AI searchTarget the questions AI answers and be the source it cites: find the question intent-jumps, then check which already trigger an AI Overview you can get quoted in.
Affiliate siteSurface the commercial comparison keywords that actually convert, then check page 1 to see which contested terms you can win without heavy domain authority.
Info product / courseFind the people with the exact problem your course solves: search the problem, score every keyword against your student, keep the high-fit ones, and split them by how close each searcher is to buying.
Coaches & consultantsFind the searches your ideal client makes once they know they need help: score the outcome you deliver against your client, keep the high-fit commercial and ready-to-book terms, and check where you can win page 1.
Agency / client workShow a client something finishable: match their Search Console export to their main topic, pull the quick wins they already half-own, and keep the top 20 as the quarter’s scope, saved for that client.

KD and links to beatDataForSEO Labs. Links to beat is how many sites link to the pages that rank now.

Phrasings without numbersGoogle Suggest. They carry no search volume, so they get no score.
