FunnelBuildr

BETA

A sign-up page and the page after it, written in your voice and your brand colour, live on your own domain or your WordPress. It never makes up numbers, reviews, prices, dates or spots left.

15 min read46 stepsUpdated October 15, 2026

Before you start

  • What people sign up forWhat people sign up for (a product, a course, a launch or an event) and a few sentences about it, in your own words.
  • Your profileYour profile filled in on your account page: your name (it goes on the consent line and the confirmation email), your email (replies go there), a voice sample (so the pages sound like you) and your brand colour.
  • Your checkout linkFor an upsell page: your checkout link (WarriorPlus, Zaxaa, Gumroad, JVZoo, a Stripe payment link or any https checkout). Payments never go through Aha Studio.
  • Somewhere to publishTo publish: a free Netlify account and a domain you own, or a WordPress site where you can sign in as an Administrator.
Anyone can try it and preview the pages. Publishing, sign-ups and the ZIP come with an Aha Studio plan.
PART 01

Pick the funnel

0 of 2 done
  1. Open FunnelBuildrAt funnelbuildr.ahastudio.net, or press Start something new on your account page and choose Funnel.
  2. Pick the funnel typeWaitlist Magnet is for a launch, a product or an event people wait for. Lead Genesis is a lead magnet opt-in: people give their email to get your free guide, checklist or video. SMS Funnel is a text message opt-in: people give their mobile number (and their email if they like) to get a welcome text and reminders before your launch or webinar, sent from your own Twilio number. Webinar Registration is for your own live webinar: a registration page, calendar invites, reminder emails and texts, the join link before you start and the replay after.
PART 02

Webinar Registration: what is different

0 of 7 done
  1. Fill in the webinarThe title, what it is about, What attendees will learn (one per line, listed as you wrote them), the Date and start time with Its time zone, the length, and the host (blank: your profile name). Where it streams is any https link (YouTube Live, Zoom, StreamYard, Demio) and can be added later: pages and emails pick it up. Seats limited to only if there is a real limit: the page says so and registration closes when it is reached.
  2. Pick the emailsThe confirmation (with the calendar file) always goes. Each reminder is optional: 24 hours before, 1 hour before, "We're live" at the start, "Replay is ready" and "Replay closes soon". The AI drafts every one in your voice and you can edit them on the review step. Aha Studio sends them from your name, replies go to your email, and each has a one-click unsubscribe link. A reminder whose time has passed when someone registers is not sent.
  3. Texts, if you likeWith your Twilio connected, tick Text reminders too: the form gets an optional mobile number with its own consent box. Texts go 24 hours and 1 hour before, at the start with the join link, and with the replay. In quiet hours a reminder before the start that would arrive late is skipped; the "We're live" text waits for texting hours while the webinar is still running, and is skipped once it is nearly over. STOP is always honoured.
  4. What people seeThe registration page shows the time in each visitor's own time zone with a live countdown (without JavaScript, in your time zone). After registering: You're registered, buttons for Google Calendar, Outlook.com and a calendar file, and the join link from 15 minutes before the start (you can change the minutes). Until then the page says the link will appear there and in their email.
  5. Moving the timeChange the date or time under Your answers and save. With people registered you are asked first; then every reminder email and text moves and each registrant gets a "New time" email with the updated calendar file. Published pages ask Aha Studio for the current time, so they show the new time on their own.
  6. After the webinarAdd the Replay link (and, if you like, Replay available until and an offer link). Registrants get the replay email and text, and a reminder before it closes.
  7. RegistrantsOn the publish step: how many, everyone with each email's state, texts, unsubscribes, a CSV, Send a message to all registrants (it shows how many first) and Send me every email now to check them all in your own inbox, marked [Test]. Registrants go to your lead destinations, email platform and sequences as usual, tagged "webinar: <title>".
PART 03

SMS Funnel: what is different

0 of 5 done
  1. Fill in the texts' factsWhen it starts and Its time zone (the reminders are timed from them), the Join link, and tick the Reminder texts: 24 hours before, 1 hour before, at the start, or days after sign-up (up to 5). Fill in How often you will text: it is part of the consent wording and the welcome text.
  2. Check the texts on the review stepThe AI drafts the welcome and each reminder in your voice; you write the middle, and Aha Studio adds your name at the start, "Reply STOP to opt out" at the end, and on the welcome how often you text, "Msg & data rates may apply" and HELP. Each text shows its characters and how many texts it costs: a reminder must fit in one text (160 characters), the welcome in two. A longer one is a yellow [ADD] until you shorten it.
  3. Connect your Twilio on the publish stepYou need your Account SID, your Auth Token (or an API key), and your Twilio number or Messaging Service. Test and connect checks them with Twilio without sending a text; Send me a test text texts your own phone. Texts always go out from your number, and Twilio bills your account for them, never your Aha Studio allowance. In the US, business texting needs A2P 10DLC registration in your Twilio account; you are responsible for consent and registration.
  4. Set the STOP webhook in TwilioCopy the address under STOP replies into Twilio (your number, A message comes in, Webhook, HTTP POST). Anyone who replies STOP is never texted again by any of your funnels. Quiet hours (no reminders 9pm to 8am in the person's time zone) and a daily limit per funnel are on by default.
  5. Without TwilioThe page still collects numbers with their consent and sends them to your lead destinations; no texts go out, and people who sign up before you connect Twilio do not get texts.
PART 04

Lead Genesis: what is different

0 of 4 done
  1. Fill in your free resourceFill in Name of your free resource, Describe it in your own words and Link to it (a PDF, a video or a page). You can write the funnel before the link is ready; publishing waits for it.
  2. OptionalThe Format (shown as a "Free checklist" label at the top), Problems that stopped them before (one per line, the way your reader would say it; they become the Sound familiar? list), What is inside, and The old way and The new way (give both and the page shows a before and after). Leave a list empty and that section is left off the page.
  3. Health, money or advice topic?Choose a line under Add a 'not advice' line?. It goes on both pages and in the email, in fixed wording.
  4. The free resource is handed over on every next pageAs the button on the thank-you page, and as a link above the offer or the event on an upsell or bridge page. The confirmation email carries it too.
PART 05

Lead Genesis: the quiz and lead scoring

0 of 4 done
  1. Open Quiz and lead scoringOpen Quiz and lead scoring when you describe a Lead Genesis funnel (or later under Your answers) and tick Ask a few questions before the email form. Type your own questions, one per line (3 to 10, used word for word), or leave it empty and the AI drafts 5 from your offer.
  2. Edit the quiz on the review stepUnder Quiz before the form, edit every question and answer and give each answer its points. Under Bands and the message after sign-up, name the bands, set the score each starts from (to start: Hot, Warm and Cold over the top score), tick Email me on the bands you want to hear about at once, and write the message people in each band see after they sign up. The AI drafts the messages; it never adds scores, percentages, predictions, comparisons with other people, testimonials or countdowns.
  3. What visitors seeOne question at a time with a progress bar and Back, then the email form, then your message for their band on the next page. They never see their score, the band name or the points. Without JavaScript the quiz stays hidden and the page is the plain opt-in.
  4. What you getEvery sign-up's answers, score and band in Sign-ups from your funnel and the CSV; the band goes to your webhooks (with the score and answers) and to your email platform as a tag (Mailchimp, AWeber, GoHighLevel); a sign-up in an Email me band sends you an alert with the answers, up to 10 an hour and 50 a day per funnel.
PART 06

Waitlist Magnet: the referral leaderboard

0 of 7 done
  1. Open Referral leaderboardOpen Referral leaderboard when you describe a Waitlist Magnet (or later under Your answers on the review step) and tick Give everyone a referral link.
  2. Optional rewardsPress Add a reward, type how many referrals it takes and the reward in your own words. People see exactly what you typed, like "Refer 3: early access". Only promise what you will give; nothing is ever made up for you.
  3. The words people shareThey go into the X, WhatsApp and email buttons with their link; people can change them before they share. LinkedIn and Facebook take the link only.
  4. What each person getsTheir own link on the thank-you page and in the confirmation email, and a private your spot page (linked from the email) with their spot on the list, their referrals, your rewards and the share buttons. More referrals, a higher spot; with the same number, whoever joined first. Without JavaScript the thank-you page says the link is in the email.
  5. Public leaderboard (optional)The top 10 referrers who choose to appear, by first name or initials only, on the thank-you page and the spot pages. Emails are never shown, and nobody appears unless they tick the box on their spot page.
  6. What does not countA sign-up from the same person, device or connection as the referrer; a throwaway email address (a built-in list you can switch off, plus any domains you add); more than 3 credited sign-ups from one connection or device in a day. An email already on the list is never added twice. Test sign-ups do not get a link.
  7. See who referred whomUnder Referrals on the publish step: the top referrers, everyone on the list with their referrals and why a referral was not counted, and Download CSV. Hosting the ZIP yourself? Type the address of your sign-up page under Your answers so the links point to it.
PART 07

Describe it

0 of 4 done
  1. Waitlist Magnet: fill in the formFill in What people sign up for and Describe it in your own words (for Lead Genesis, see the section above). Add Who it is for, The problem it solves, When it launches, Benefits (one per line) and What early sign-ups get if you have them. Prefer to talk? Type or say it under Tell it in your own words at the top, press Fill the form, then check the fields. The microphone beside each box works too.
  2. OptionalOpen Deliver a link after sign-up to hand over a PDF, a video or a bonus on the next page and in the confirmation email. Open Form and sharing to ask for a first name too, and to add a Share image for Facebook, LinkedIn and X previews and a Privacy policy link under the form.
  3. Choose the page after sign-upChoose it under After they sign up, show. Thank-you page: confirms they are in and hands over your link. Upsell page: one more offer with your Checkout link (it must start with https://; the platform is named beside it), an optional Offer name, Price (shown exactly as you type it) and What is in it. Bridge page: for launches, waitlists and webinars. Add the Launch or event, Date, Time, Time zone, the join link and a button. Tick Offer "Get SMS reminders" to add a phone number box with its own consent box. Fill in How often you will text: it is part of the wording people agree to, with "Msg & data rates may apply" and "Reply STOP to unsubscribe". With your own Twilio connected (see SMS Funnel above), each person gets a welcome text and the reminders you tick, timed from When it starts; without it, the numbers go to your lead destinations (a webhook to Zapier, Make or your SMS tool).
  4. Press Write my funnelIt reads your answers, your profile and your voice, writes both pages and the confirmation email, then checks every number and claim against your own words. It takes about 20 seconds. You can leave the page; the funnel opens again from its link and from Your work.
PART 08

Check the words

0 of 5 done
  1. Fill every yellow [ADD] boxAny number you never gave becomes [ADD: check the number ...], and any fact a page needs that you left out becomes an [ADD] too. Type the real fact into the words, or remove the sentence. Numbers you type yourself count as yours.
  2. Read the sentences the checks removedThey are under Sentences the checks removed: urgency, scarcity, reviews or borrowed authority you never gave, like "only 20 spots left", "rated 5 stars" or "studies show". Write them back yourself only if they are true.
  3. Edit anythingThe headline, subhead, bullets, paragraphs and button of both pages, the Consent line people tick, the confirmation email and the search and social preview. Press Save and check; every check runs again. Write again writes it all fresh from your answers.
  4. Look at the preview beside the editorSwitch between the two pages and between Desktop and Phone. The preview is private and posts nothing.
  5. Go to publishingPress Go to publishing once every tick is green.
PART 09

Publish on your own domain or WordPress

0 of 4 done

Your funnel goes live only on your own hosting. Aha Studio never hosts a live funnel page.

  1. Keep your funnelWrote it before you signed in? Sign in and press Add to my account.
  2. Netlify and your own domainConnect Netlify with a personal access token, press Deploy to Netlify, then in Your own domain type a domain or subdomain you own (for example join.yourdomain.com), add the record it shows in your DNS (DNS only, not Proxied in Cloudflare) and press Check and secure. The pages, their canonical links and the Open Graph addresses move to your domain.
  3. WordPressIn Publish to your WordPress site, connect your site with an application password, choose the Address of the sign-up page and press Send both pages. Both pages arrive as drafts: the sign-up page at the address you chose and the next page under it at /thank-you/. Connect with an Administrator account: WordPress removes forms for other users, and FunnelBuildr tells you if it did. Publish both drafts in WordPress when you are ready.
  4. ZIPDownload ZIP gives you both pages for any host. The form still sends sign-ups to Aha Studio.
PART 10

Sign-ups

0 of 4 done
  1. Press Send a test sign-upIt goes the same way a visitor's does: into Sign-ups from your funnel (tagged Test), to every lead destination, and the confirmation email to the address you type (blank: your account email), marked [Test].
  2. Choose where sign-ups goIn Sign-ups from your funnel: up to 5 emails, up to 3 webhooks (Zapier, Make, your CRM or your SMS tool) and up to 3 autoresponder forms (paste the raw HTML form code). Press Save.
  3. Every sign-up is storedWith its email, the time the person ticked the consent box and the exact words they agreed to, and the page address with its utm_ tags. From a bridge page, the phone number and the SMS consent (time and words) are added to the same sign-up. Download all as CSV has them all; CSV without test sign-ups leaves the tests out.
  4. The confirmation emailIt goes to each person who signs up, from your profile name, with replies going to your email. It is sent by Aha Studio from its own address, never from your domain, once per address a day, up to 100 an hour and 500 a day per funnel.
